Dilled Carrots

Recipe from my Daughter, Carol

 

8 to 10 carrots, washed and cut into serving pieces

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup vinegar

1 teaspoon dill seed

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Put all ingredients together in a covered sauce pan.  Cook until carrots are just tender (crisp).  Cool and leave in refrigerator 4 hours or longer before eating.  Have liquid on carrots to marinate.
