Chicken Noodle Soup

 

Good recipe for Chicken Noodle soup from my Daughter, Carol  The celery really enhances the flavor.

 

1-1/2 pound chicken

2 quarts water

4 medium carrots (2 cups)

4 stalks celery (2 cups)

1/2 cup chopped onion1

 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

2 tablespoons instant chicken broth

2 cup uncooked noodles

 

Cook chicken until done.  Remove from bone.  Strain Broth.  Return chicken and broth to pan along with remaining ingredients.  Cook 45 minutes.
